The telecom business for Ramboll started with towers and masts for the Royal Danish Post and Telegraph Company back in 1945. Since 1945 Ramboll Telecom has been internationally recognized because of our expertise within structural design and we have been deeply involved in international work regarding codes and standards for masts and towers and has been in chairmanship of the IASS working Group for masts and towers since its founding in 1969.
In the design of masts and towers Ramboll Telecom is focusing on the aesthetics and has in corporation with KHR Architects been awarded "The Industrial Design Award 1999" by the Danish Minister of Industry and Commerce.
