Steen Jespersen, Sitehunter, Ørestaden, Copenhagen:

Being a part of ”The Cell Phone Generation” in my upbringing, and having worked for multiple Telecommunication companies in Denmark, Rambøll was the obvious choice in my seeking to further my abilities within the area.

Working as a site hunter has brought me the opportunity to find locations for establishing the cell phone network in Denmark. Finding these locations vary from site to site. In cities you mostly find buildings to implement rooftop antennas. In suburban areas and countryside, you find locations for masts and flagpoles (hidden antennas).

I get to plan the placement of antennas and technical equipment in any given area, negotiate contracts with property owners, apply for building permits and see all my hard work come to life.

With Site hunting you get to see the process from the beginning to the end. And that is a motivating way of work.
