"Communication" is an important part of our everyday lives. Good communication is essential between people to understand and be understood correctly and accurately. The evolution of the telecommunications network has given us the opportunity to communicate across longer and longer distances bringing us all closer together. It is very important that the telecommunications network performs sufficiently well to support our growing need to communicate.  

Network performance depends on several factors combined together. The telecommunications tower is a very important part of the telecommunications infrastructure! A good telecommunications tower must be able to support the antenna load under specified win speeds without degrading transmission quality and the tower design must follow engineering principles.

Ramboll Telecom South East Asia Ltd. has strong expertise in the design of Telecommunication towers to meet the customer’s specific needs.
I have joined Ramboll Telecom South East Asia Ltd. in 2007 as a design engineer with responsibility for design of communication towers, masts, drill foundation and audit quality. Work on structural steel and high structures is my favorite and the most challenging for me.

I have worked with Ramboll telecom South East Asia (RTSEA) since February 2007, as part of the CAD drawing team. I am very pleased to be part of this team and I find the work very interesting. When bidding for any project within South East Asia then we must make a design drawing to be presented to the customer, and I have learned a lot about tower design here at Ramboll. I had previous experience of 4-legged tower design whereas in Ramboll I have learned a lot about 3 legged tower design using tubular elements, which are easy to install and maintain. The tower has very few parts making it easy to deliver and erect.

Today the market is very competitive but we have much success in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc. in spite of the general world economic crisis.

Finally, I’m happy to be part of the drawing office in Ramboll Telecom South East Asia Ltd. We try to develop the drawing for presentation to our customer using 3D animations or produce an ISO metric view with a good cad program. We provides support for sales managers, CEO and also coordinates with customers. Not only to produce the drawings but also to make sure that they understands the drawing concept through meetings and presentations etc.
