Ramboll Telecom APAC has secured their first major order in the Philippines for the design, manufacture and supply of 700 telecom towers to Nokia Siemens Networks. This order comes following extensive pre-sales activity and negotiations over a 9 month period and against major global competition.

In 2010, Ramboll managed to create profitable growth in a market which is continuously characterised by fierce global competition. Ramboll achieved net profit of DKK 175 mio in 2010. This is an increase of 40 percent compared to 2009. Profit before tax increased by 30 percent to DKK 276 mio. The result was generated on the basis of record-breaking revenue of DKK 6 billion and an increased EBITA margin.

The telecom market in Africa is currently one of the fastest growing in the world.

Ramboll Estonia has just signed the contract with the Estonian transmission line company Elering for a 160 km 330kV/110kV Over Head Transmission Line (OHTL) between Harku-Lihula-Sindi in Estonia.
