For particularly telecom companies, Ramboll has developed a RamSite^TM module for radio and transmission data. Here the nominal network plan for radio and transmission is registered. A number of requested sites (nominal cell points) are set up. For each site the planned antenna types and radio links are registered together with their planned height and further information as e.g. the search area.

Hereafter all site candidates are registered, specifying which antenna type and radio links can be mounted and in which height. The RF-planners then judge which site is the best and following the selected configuration from a net planning system.

RamsiteTM has a specific module developed for radio and transmission planning

In the expansion phase RamSite^TM makes it possible to track the progress on linked sites, making the planners able to priorities key transmission sites.

After the installation RamSite^TM shows the obtained antenna and radio link configuration. These data are used when network expansion, upgrading and split-up of the site are planned.

When implementing changes in the network plan, the user can choose to set up a new revision, which makes it possible to get previous net plans at a later time.
